Our client is one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. that focuses on rebuilding and remanufacturing rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
Job description:
An electric motor winder will be responsible for assembling, repairing and testing various types of electric motors.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and identifying issues: After disassembling motors, electric motor winders inspect each component to identify issues such as broken or worn-out coils, damaged insulation, or burnt-out components.
-Testing and troubleshooting: Once the motor is reassembled, electric motor winders will test the motor to ensure it is functioning properly. If issues arise, they will troubleshoot the problem and make any necessary repairs.
- Repairing or replacing components: Based on the assessment of the motor, the electric motor winder will either repair or replace any damaged components.

- Minimum 3 years of motor winder experience
- Knowledge of rewinding 3 phase form coil, random wound stators, DC armatures and fields
- Experience in the electrical tests and the use of its equipment's
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Willing to work OT
