Job Summary

Answers maintenance requests obtained via the Work Order Management System and/or communication with hospital staff. Handles routine and emergency maintenance calls for complex systems, and keeps routine watch over operating condition of HVAC, electric, plumbing and medical systems in the facility. Does routine maintenance according to scheduled preventive maintenance program. Requires high level of carpentry experience, particularly with metal stud and drywall. This position places patient care and infection control standards as a top priority, following and aligning all activities with these standards. The role may require working outside of regularly scheduled shifts, in inclement weather, or in emergency situations. All roles within the Engineering department are required to adopt and utilize the CMMS work order system to effectively communicate across the organization and manage activities and assets.

Minimum Requirements

Two years of relevant experience required

Adequate knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry preferred

Valid Driver's License required
