Job description

We are looking for team members who want to be a part of a growing hospitality group! Made up of 5 award-winning brands (Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mike's Subs, Buffalo Wild Wings GO, Limestone BBQ and Bourbon, and Eggspectation) we offer many opportunities for growth across franchise and independent brands.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Busser to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas. Busser responsibilities include serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and want to kickstart your career in the hospitality industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
  • Place tableware and condiments on tables
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
  • Clean and reset tables after guests leave
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean; replacing damaged or soiled pages; cleaning chalkboards; lettering specials on chalkboards.
  • Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to Guest spills or other special needs.
  • Supports wait staff by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers, liners, and bus stations.
  • Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in team member training opportunities.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills and Abilities Required
  • Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • The physical demands for this position are to stand for long periods, walk, bend, lift at least 25 pounds and move on an ongoing basis during working hours within a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience Required
  • Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to access online scheduling apps
