Job description


bjective of Position:
The Applications Developer I will develop 'Line of Business' applications to support Trail King processes and provide assistance with iSeries Applications and Interfaces. This includes the availability, security, monitoring, upgrades, applications, education, and maintenance of all software of the server system. Responsibilities for all systems include assisting with user support, software maintenance, and day-to-day operations.
Principal Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, maintain and support 'Line of Business' applications using Microsoft's .Net, MVC Framework, C#, and other programming languages.
  2. Utilize Microsoft's Azure DevOps for source control and documentation.
  3. Write SQL queries to gather information on all systems.
  4. Maintain SQL servers and databases.
  5. Develop and support Interfaces to iSeries data including PaperLess MES application.
  6. Develop, maintain, and support Trail King's Microsoft SharePoint site and Power BI.
  7. Maintain detailed documentation of system changes, configurations and standard work and provide usage instructions to users.
  8. Ability to develop and support XML programs.
  9. Maintain network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  10. Provide user support, equipment, and education for all systems, all locations, and all employees within Trail King.
  11. Provide IT Technical Support in facility as needed including hardware and network support.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 2 years IT related college degree plus a minimum of 1 to 4 years of IT experience.
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience with Application Development using .Net, C#, PowerApp, and other programming languages.
  3. Minimum of 1 year experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
  4. Self directed with a knowledge of a variety of technologies and applications.
  5. Possess the ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within all levels of Trail King.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills.
  7. Organized project management skills including critical thinking, problem solving, active listening and prioritization.
