Job description

Are you the person who catches typos, loves organizing information, and enjoys learning about a wide variety of projects and industries? If so, RK&K may be the perfect place to launch your career.

We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented entry-Level Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll help create proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that support transportation and construction pursuits across the firm. You'll work alongside experienced marketing and technical professionals, gaining hands-on experience in proposal development, visual communication, and strategic marketing while building skills that will serve you throughout your career.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who enjoys writing, editing, page layout, project coordination, and continuous learning.

Essential Functions

  • Edit proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials, incorporating feedback from technical reviewers
  • Format and design professional documents and presentations
  • Complete proposal forms and coordinate signatures and notarizations as needed
  • Maintain resumes, project descriptions, company information, and photo libraries
  • Search for and distribute relevant Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to appropriate teams
  • Assemble marketing packages, qualifications statements, small proposals, and other client-facing materials
  • Learn about RK&K's diverse projects and help tell the stories behind our work

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
  • 0-2 years Marketing Experience
