Overview
Nelson Mullins law firm is looking to add a Junior Commercial Litigation Associate to its National Arbitration Litigation & Employment Team. This position is open to the Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, D.C., and New York office locations. As an AmLaw100 firm, this is a unique opportunity to join an expanding practice that offers a range of litigation services to clients in a variety of industries. This is not an entry-level position.

A Day in the Life
The National Arbitration Litigation & Employment Team at Nelson Mullins is a litigation team that covers most of the East Coast. The team has many litigation focuses such as high stakes business litigation and class action defense, FinTech/cryptocurrency litigation, and government investigations and white-collar defense. Clients include financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, hedge funds, and companies/individuals involved in the cryptocurrency industry in a wide array of internal/government investigations and commercial litigation. We Know You
You are a Junior Litigation Associate with meaningful commercial litigation experience. Prior service as a federal law clerk is a plus. Your background includes legal research and writing, discovery, drafting and arguing motions and taking and defending depositions. Experience in the area of class action defense, financial services, and/or government/internal investigations is a plus but not a requirement. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills and have strong academic credentials.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience gained at a mid-size to large law firm setting.
  • Adept in case management and ready to take the lead.
  • Admitted to and in good standing to the Bar in: MA, NC, NY, DC, and/or GA.

At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.
  • The salary/wage range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
