Compensation:

  • Training Pay: $23.00/hr. + Full Benefits

  • Post-Certification Pay:

    • $27.00/hr (SPED routes)

    • $28.00/hr (RegEd routes)

  • Annual increases

Start Your Career with Paid Training!

We are hiring individuals into our paid Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) program, designed to support you in earning your Class B CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.

As a School Bus Driver Trainee, you'll be paid while learning the skills needed to safely transport students and build a long-term career with our team.

What You'll Do -

During Training:

  • Complete ELDT program requirements (classroom + behind-the-wheel training)

  • Learn safety procedures, DOT compliance, and student transportation best practices

  • Work closely with certified trainers and mentors

After Certification & Route Assignment:

  • Safely transport students to and from school and activities

  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

  • Conduct child checks after each route

  • Maintain on-time route performance

  • Interact professionally with students, parents, and school staff

  • Maintain accurate records and a clean, well-maintained vehicle

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL permit with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (we will help you get there!)
