Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing operations.

 
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following: 
  1. Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water, and drainage systems.
  2. Identify plumbing and safety problems and take necessary corrective action.
  3. Maintain grease traps and sewage ejector pits to prevent waste line blockages.
  4. Maintain standpipe and sprinkler systems.
  5. Perform other related duties as assigned.  

  • Knowledge and use of all techniques for the trade. 
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 
  • Knowledge of sanitary codes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff. 
  • From entry-level to two years relevant experience preferred.
  • High school education or equivalent.  Trade apprenticeship preferred.
