Job description

The Golf Course Maintenance position is an entry level to experienced operator level position that is performed daily to meet golf course conditioning and standards. Individuals should have the ability to operate small engine equipment such as walking greens mowers, utility vehicles such as golf carts, machine rake sand pro, string trimmers, self propelled mowers and fly mowers. Based on individuals experience, these operators may learn other task, as well as operate larger equipment.

Other Job Duties:

  • Tee box & Approach mowing
  • Fairway mowing
  • Golf Course Setup (cutting cups, moving tee markers, trash, etc.)
  • Hand raking Bunkers
  • Walk/Ride mowing greens
  • Tractor & Turbine blowing
  • Detailing equipment
  • Small projects (sodding, bunker detail, building tee boxes, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work outdoors, year round, all weather conditions
  • 18 years of age upon start date
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Golf Course/Landscape maintenance preferred, but not required. Willing to train all individuals.
  • Ability to work well in an team atmosphere

Golf Course Superintendent-Senior Golf Course Assistant Superintendent-Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Rate of Pay:

$17-18 per hour 

Work Schedule: April-October

Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30pm

Saturday & Sunday (Rotating Weekends) 6:00 am -10 am

Work Schedule: November-March

Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Saturday & Sunday (Rotating Weekends) 6:30 am -10:30 am
