Job description

Governors Club is calling all individuals with a true passion for the outdoors, grounds maintenance, and the game of golf to apply and join our team in Golf Course Maintenance.

Golf Course Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position to aid the golf course maintenance team in small task related to mowing and course conditioning. Individuals should have the ability to operate primarily small equipment such as string trimmers, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, sand pro and utility vehicles. Based on their experience and quality of work these operators may be requested to learn to operate larger equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mow Fairways
  • Irrigation repairs
  • Tree trimming
  • Operate small equipment
  • Walk mowing greens
  • Set golf course; cut cups, move tee markers
  • Hand raking and power raking bunkers
  • String trimming creeks and other parts of the course
  • Edging curbs
  • Help to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc.
  • Help ensure the maintenance facility is kept neat and clean and all equipment is being washed off properly

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work outdoors, all seasons, and in all weather conditions
  • Some Landscape maintenance experience preferred, but not required
  • 18 years in age by the start date
  • Valid Driver's License

Golf Course Superintendent - Assistant Superintendent

Rate of Pay:
Starting at $15 - $18+ per hour-DOE

Rotating Weekends (Saturday - Sunday) 6:30 am - 11:00 am
