Job description

Job Title: Receipt Inspector - Level II
Location: Camden, NJ
Job Description:
Holtec International's Advanced Manufacturing Division in Camden, NJ is seeking an Entry-Level Receipt Inspector (Level II) to perform inspections on incoming materials, items, and components to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements, specifications, and any special instructions. This role is essential to maintaining quality standards and supporting production readiness through accurate and timely inspections.
The position requires proficiency in using standard Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE) and a working knowledge of inspection techniques and documentation practices.
Specific Areas of Responsibility:
• Perform receipt inspections of incoming materials, components, and items against purchase order and specification requirements.
• Verify material certifications, to confirm traceability.
• Use standard M&TE such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with quality procedures.
• Identify and report nonconforming items and support resolution activities.
• Participate in internal audits and external vendor surveillances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, NQA-1, ISO).
• Support calibration verification and control of inspection equipment.
• Communicate inspection findings effectively with quality, engineering, and procurement teams.
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• Qualification to ASNT-TC-1A standards for applicable inspection methods.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing or quality inspection role preferred.
• Familiarity with M&TE and basic inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, specifications, and material certifications.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and thoroughness in inspection tasks.
• Ability to lift inspection equipment and work in a manufacturing environment.
Optional Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with NDE methods and inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of advanced dimensional inspection tools (e.g., CMM, FARO Arm).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
