DevOps Engineer / SRE / Cloud / Docker / Kubernetes 

Location: Wallingford - Oxfordshire (Hybrid) onsite circa 1 day per week

At Dexory, we are transforming the warehousing and logistics industry through data intelligence.

We're currently recruiting for a devops engineer to define, build and operate the infrastructure and tooling necessary for our rapidly growing business. You will be responsible for supporting high-velocity deployment of user-facing applications, internal services, and infrastructure at scale, while ensuring stability, reliability and automation.

Offices based in Wallingford, Oxford but flexible hybrid basis (circa one day every week on site)

Any experience within robotics or start up / scale up environments desirable along with experience working on multiple cloud platforms vs being tied to just vendor.

Responsibilities / Skills

  • Develop and Maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling that supports multiple engineering teams with different technical requirements - enabling self-service, repeatable deployments, and high-throughput delivery.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure across a wide range of cloud providers, using Kubernetes, for both user-facing applications and internal services - provision, monitor, optimise cost, performance and reliability.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with Terraform on Terraform Cloud, establishing standards for repeatable environments, reducing manual processes and increasing automation.
  • Support monitoring, logging, observability and alerting systems, via Grafana, to support production health, incident detection, root-cause analysis and rapid recovery.
  • Drive a culture of DevOps best-practice across teams: infrastructure reliability, deployment-velocity, automated testing, rollback strategies, security/infrastructure hardening.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform), containers (Docker), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tooling.
  • Proven track record of building and managing CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions), automation frameworks.
