Position: Entry-Level Controls Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia
Duration: 12 Months of contract with possible extension
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Executes engineering for design and development of technologies, components, systems, and products for generator control switchgear human machine interface (HMI) applications.

Typical task breakdown:
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes, converts and implements software-programming for generator control switchgear human machine interface applications.
- Configures, programs and tests HMI hardware.
- Work with Power System Engineers to validate/correct HMI programming
- Supports HMI issues in the field and provides remote HMI installation support
Education & Experience Required:
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science curriculum plus 0-2 years of experience or equivalent experience
- 2 years Associate degree with 4+ years of experience
- Master’s degree’s is overqualified
