Position Summary: The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production within our facility. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. The ideal candidate demonstrates problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications.
  • Load raw materials and ensure proper machine calibration and tool selection.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Monitor machine operations to identify any issues or deviations from specifications.
  • Perform routine inspections, measurements, and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
  • Adjust machine settings to improve accuracy, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and report complex issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience operating CNC machines (or willingness to train for entry-level roles, depending on position).
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code (preferred but not required for entry-level).
