Your New Role:
  • Assist with planning, design, and construction documents for commercial and land development projects
  • Work directly with experienced Professional Engineers on real-world engineering projects
  • Design site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, roads, and parking lots
  • Prepare engineering drawings and reports using AutoCAD
  • Perform engineering calculations and assist with project planning
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and municipalities
  • Gain hands-on experience from concept through construction while preparing for your PE license

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Approximately 1+ year of AutoCAD drafting and design experience through school, internships, or work experience
  • Desire to obtain your Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification and eventually your Professional Engineer license
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
