Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist Position Open – Work with a Supportive Team at Mesquite Dental

We are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Registered Dental Hygienist to join Mesquite Dental on a part-time or full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping patients maintain excellent oral health through screenings, cleanings, education, and preventive care. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a patient-friendly demeanor, and a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices and safety regulations. Job Description

Ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease before their examination
Properly sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean work environment
Conduct initial oral screenings and review patients’ oral health histories
Identify dental conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
Perform dental cleanings including plaque removal and fluoride application
Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Provide post-treatment instructions following dental procedures
Take dental X-rays and impressions as necessary
Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatment plans for oral diseases, including oral cancer
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and charts
Monitor and manage dental supplies and equipment

Salary Range

Full-time $83,000 - $101,000 per year

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Licensed dental hygienist

Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Nevada
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role (entry-level candidates with training considered)
Comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA and other health and safety regulations
Skilled in sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, friendly, and professional demeanor
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role

Preferences

Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene; Master’s degree is a plus
