Overview:

As an Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of embedded software within prototype RF systems and test apparatus used to validate radar processing algorithms. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers to integrate embedded software and hardware components into a high-quality prototype.

Responsibilities:

· Design embedded interface architecture to system level requirements

· Implement firmware to interface PS/PL and other components

· Develop software to implement radar processing algorithms

· Generate interface documentation between software/firmware interface

· Develop user GUI and manual for test team to execute tests;

· Analyze data to determine root cause of failure and generate reports/presentations; and

· Work with engineers across IERUS locations to coordinate development capability to meet program development milestones.

Required Qualifications:

· Must be a US Citizen

· Bachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering;

· Knowledge of or experience in digital signal processing techniques;

· Experience with Xilinx Vivado and Petalinux builds;

· Experience with VHDL/Verilog

· Experience with C/C++

· Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or other scripting languages;

· Ability to travel up to 25%; and

· Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

· Current SECRET security clearance.

· Experience with realtime operating system embedded development;

· Knowledge of data analysis techniques;

· Experience with MOSA VPX chassis configuration and development;

· Familiar with gnu compiler options and build tools (make, cmake, etc.); and

· Active or ability to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance.
