Job description

Role Overview

This role supports the development of advanced, software-defined radar systems used across fixed, transportable, and naval platforms. The position focuses on building and optimizing real-time, multi-processor software that enables scalable, mission-critical radar capabilities within a secure defense environment. Working as part of an Agile engineering team, this role will contribute across the full software lifecycle, including development, integration, testing, and performance optimization. Partnering closely with cross-functional engineering teams and embedded within a highly technical environment supporting critical defense programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, debug, and test real-time, multi-processor software supporting advanced radar systems.
  • Design and implement backend software using Object Oriented Modern C++.
  • Optimize software performance to meet system-level requirements and constraints.
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation activities across the software lifecycle.
  • Contribute to GPU-based development and parallel processing initiatives where applicable.
  • Collaborate within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, execution, and reviews.
  • Support requirements verification testing and ensure alignment between system requirements and software functionality.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to support system architecture, integration, and overall program success.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across development, testing, and deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Secret clearance required.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Object Oriented Modern C++.
  • Experience developing real-time, multi-threaded or multi-processor systems.
  • Solid foundation in analytical thinking and applied mathematics.
  • Experience with software testing, verification, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with GPU development and parallel computing (CUDA preferred).
