A Lead Local Contractor is someone who is skilled in several different types of jobs, is personable, responsible, and embodies the Surv culture and values. They are the local go to support, communicator with Surv, and will take oversight responsibility on all jobs worked.


You will be responsible for:

  • Working in the Field

    • Making sure logistics for jobs you oversee are set up for success.

    • You are the Lead on jobs. You are responsible for ensuring that jobs worked in the field go smoothly. This involves leadership and communication with the customer.

    • Oversee other contractors during jobs and non job shifts, dealing with complex issues as they arise.

    • Communication with other contractors to ensure they are prepared for jobs and encouraged to give the highest quality of service.

    • Identify leads for our membership program.

    • Surv with excellence.

  • Additional opportunities may include:

  • Saturday Warrior: Alternate job management on weekends with CM and other Leads.

  • Check-ins with CM to talk about general laborer/contractors & customer feedback.

  • Reimbursement for loaning personal tools.

  • Work with Community Manager and Community Partner in planning team building gatherings.

  • Training available to be able to be part of the traveling team to open new markets.

Requirements:

  • Min of 20 hours/week commitment is highly recommended. There are a lot of opportunities for 40+ hours for individuals who want to work more!

  • Experience at entry level or higher skill level of all odd jobs including painting, landscaping, moving, and other handyman work.

  • Own a vehicle to use for business.

  • Have a minimum amount of personal tools to perform odd jobs in the field.

Compensation & Time Commitment:

  • Location: your local and surrounding areas

  • Hourly rate:

    • $18-19/hourly bill rate + Tips. Averages $20-24/hr.

    • Saturday Warrior Day + $2/hour premium on jobs that you oversee
