Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The function will contain data entry, inventory management and customer interaction. It requires organizational skills and attention to detail. This is an entry level position.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires walking, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires physical lifting and moving of mechanical/electrical parts. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a work/office environment. It may involve contact with internal customers in person and through email correspondence.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)

· Data entry from multiple sources on a daily basis.

· Receive and organize mechanical/electrical parts.

· Retrieve parts and kits for engineers.

· Update Databases, Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents as required.

· Miscellaneous projects as assigned.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Highly detail oriented with great organization skills.

· Knowledge of computer systems, programs and applications.

· Skills in written and verbal communication.

· Computer skills including Windows, Outlook and ability to use Intranet browsers

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

EDUCATION/EXPEREINCE:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Need to have high level of organization, patience, and flexibility.
