Project Controls Coordinator
Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Controls Coordinator to join our team. The Project Controls function supports the business in tracking and improving performance across cost, schedule, and quality on active construction projects through accurate data collection, entry, and maintenance across multiple systems.

This is an entry-level, office-based role designed to build foundational skills in construction data management and project systems. The Coordinator will support ongoing project workflows by gathering information, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with routine system updates. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage time and complete tasks independently, and comfort learning new tools and systems.

The ideal candidate is proactive, willing to ask questions, and confident reaching out to team members to gather information. They take ownership of their work, follow through on tasks, and contribute positively to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This position reports to the Director of Project Controls and works closely with Project Managers, Install Managers, and the Project Controls team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform data entry and navigation in Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Unifier
  • Complete routine project data tasks accurately and on time across scheduling and cost systems
  • Collect project information directly from Project Managers and Install Managers (in person and by phone)
  • Take initiative to track down missing or incomplete data with strong follow-through
  • Enter, update, and maintain project cost, schedule, and task information in company systems
  • Support project reporting by ensuring data is accurate, timely, and organized
  • Identify discrepancies or gaps in data and coordinate with team members to resolve
  • Build working knowledge of project controls workflows and systems within the first 90 days
  • Progress toward completing routine entries in P6 and Unifier with minimal guidance
Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

  • Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, formatting, and comfortable navigating spreadsheets)
  • Previous data entry experience
  • Confidence to reach out to coworkers (phone or in-person) to gather information

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Exposure to Unifier, Primavera P6, or Bluebeam
  • Construction Management degree (or currently enrolled)
  • Prior construction, office, or customer service experience
  • Experience learning new software systems
