Job description

Job Summary
Are you looking for a career path with high growth potential, rather than just another paycheck? We are a leading smart home automation and AV integration company, and we are looking for a motivated Low Voltage Installer to join our team.

We hire for attitude and train for skill. If you are completely green, we will provide paid training on high-end smart home technology (including systems like Control4), home theaters, and video security. If you already have 1–2 years of experience under your belt, we will fast-track you into a leadership track with higher pay where you can skip the basic onboarding.

What You Will Do Every Day:

  • Pulling cabling: Run Cat6, speaker wire, and coaxial cable through residential and commercial buildings.
  • Device Installation: Safely mount security cameras, mount flat-screen TVs, and install in-ceiling/in-wall speakers.
  • Trim-Out Work: Install wall plates, finish connections, and assist lead technicians with final equipment setups.
  • Advanced Growth (For 1-2 Yr Techs): Assist directly with high-end Control4 deployments, device programming, and leading smaller project segments.

What It Takes to Succeed (Requirements):

  • Basic Tool Skills: You must have experience using basic hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, tape measures, screwdrivers) and be accurate with measurements.
  • Physical Agility: This is a physical, active job. You must be comfortable working on ladders, getting into attics, and working in crawl spaces.
  • Unmatched Work Ethic: Show up on time every day, bring a positive attitude, and possess a genuine drive to learn or master a high-paying trade.
  • Background Check: Must have a clean driving record, a valid driver's license, and no drug or alcohol convictions to ensure safety on our job sites and eligibility to drive company vehicles.

Perks & Benefits:

  • Paid Time Off: Paid holidays off, plus a paid day off for your birthday!
  • Tool Purchase Assistance: We believe quality tools make quality techs. We help green techs build their kits, and offer tool/equipment allowances for experienced techs who bring their own established setups.
  • Gear Discounts: Employee purchase discounts on top-tier audio, video, and smart home equipment.
  • Paid Training: Comprehensive, on-the-job technical training.
  • Career Growth: A clear path to transition into a Lead Tech or certified Control4 Programmer role.
  • Healthcare Allowance: We do not offer a traditional group medical plan, but we provide a monthly stipend/allowance to directly help you pay for your own health insurance plan or medical expenses!
