STATUS provides physician staffing services for over 100 hospitals and clinics nationwide, with a focus on rural areas. STATUS offers a full service staffing solution to its clients, which include: recruitment, credentialing, physician verification, and staffing/placement.

A growing health care corporation is in need of a full-time, entry-level Physician Credentialer to join our team. Job functions will include processing new applications and reappointments, ensuring current files are up to date, and providing affiliated STATUS facilities with updated credentialing information. Applicants must be extremely organized, self motivated and be able to multi-task. Applicants will also need a strong attention to detail for data entry and follow up, and excellent time management skills.

- Review and process provider credentialing applications according to established standards and guidelines
- Verify accuracy and completeness of application materials
- Conduct primary source verification of provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing files and databases
- Communicate with providers and internal stakeholders regarding credentialing status and requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of credentialing processes
- Assist with audits and quality improvement initiatives related to provider credentialing
