Job description

In this role, you will use reporting platforms such as Google Analytics and Tableau and communicate results effectively to varied audiences, providing timely and accurate reporting. The Paid Search Analyst supports the Senior Paid Search Specialist in delivering a positive return on ad spend and understands cross-channel impact within the marketing mix, working with team members to drive the success of integrated marketing programs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Campaign Strategy & Management

  • Executing and implementing paid search strategies across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising to meet business goals (e.g., traffic volume, ROAS targets).
  • Provide management and optimization of paid search campaigns, including:
  • Implementation and refinement of bid strategies.
  • Conducting deep-dive search term scrubbing and maintaining a high-level of campaign hygiene.
  • Conceptualize, execute, and measure scalable A/B tests, ensuring all experiments are meticulously documented and built for high-volume campaign environments.

Segmenting and targeting audiences.

  • Propose and execute A/B tests and pilot new platform features, including AI-driven solutions like Performance Max campaigns, to identify new opportunities for growth.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Deliver a concise monthly performance report providing data-driven insights, key learnings, and strategic recommendations to internal leadership
  • Provide ad-hoc performance analysis as requested to support decision-making.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Support the Senior Paid Search Specialist by managing daily communication with designated stakeholders, translating complex campaign performance data into clear, actionable updates and results-oriented reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to ensure campaign alignment with overall business objectives.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 2+ years executing large-scale, high-performance paid search campaigns, preferably for multi-location or franchise businesses.
  • Expertise using Google Sheets for advanced data analysis and reporting (PivotTables, formulas, data visualization).
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) for campaign tracking, attribution, and performance insights.
  • Experience with Tableau (or other BI tools) to build and present dashboards is highly desirable.
  • Utilizes Google Ads Editor to streamline large-scale optimizations, handle bulk edits, and manage complex account structures efficiently.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
