  • Support development of business cases and recommendations
  • Drive delivery of assigned project activities and tasks

  • Generate graphical representations of data and model outcomes
  • Design data representations for multiple datasets based on customer requirements
  • Work with User Experience designers and User Interface engineers to build front-end applications as required
  • Present to and influence team and business audiences using appropriate data visualization frameworks
  • Customize communication style and guide junior associates on story types, structures, and techniques
  • Promote data quality awareness and profile, analyze, assess, test, and validate data quality
  • Execute data quality management procedures and conduct data cleansing activities under supervision
  • Grant user access to data and learn data governance processes and policies
  • Support identification and application of statistical techniques
  • Support data collection and evaluation
  • Explore data using simple tools
  • Execute existing statistical models and explain their relevance to client situations
  • Analyze data and compute descriptive statistics to identify trends, outliers, and correlations

Requirements
  • Must have completed a Summer 2026 Walmart or Sam's Club internship

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or related field, OR 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
  • Knowledge of industry and environmental factors, business vernacular, and business practices across two or more domains
  • Knowledge of business metrics and business areas
  • Knowledge of functional business domains, data categories, data requirements, database technologies, and distributed datastores such as SQL and NoSQL
  • Knowledge of data quality, business systems, and processes
  • Knowledge of analytics, big data analytics, automation techniques, and methods
  • Knowledge of data visualization guidelines, tools, and advanced visualization techniques
  • Knowledge of data quality management, profiling, cleansing, integration, governance, privacy, security, storage, retention, and documentation
  • Knowledge of Knowledge Discovery in Data (KDD) tools, applications, scripting languages, and statistical techniques
  • Experience or knowledge with SQL, Oracle, Apache Mahout, MS Excel, Python, and statistical techniques
  • Master's degree and related industry experience are preferred
  • Preferred experience with SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau
