Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM (Midnight) Includes a 30-minute lunch break


Job Summary

A leading national document management company is seeking 1–2 reliable Document Specialists to join their San Diego team. In this role, you will assist clients with digitizing and storing sensitive paper documents. This is a stable, long-term evening assignment perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and enjoy focused, independent work.

This position features an interactive interview process where you will visit the facility to see the operation firsthand and meet the manager before starting to ensure it is the right fit for you!


Key Responsibilities

  • Document Preparation: Go page-by-page through confidential files (such as medical and legal documents) to prepare them for digital scanning.
  • Hardware Removal: Carefully remove staples, paperclips, post-it notes, and any other bindings to ensure smooth scanning transitions.
  • Strict Confidentiality: Maintain absolute data security by ensuring documents are never read, photographed, or shared with anyone.
  • Production Support: Perform regular, repetitive document tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality-control standards.
  • General Support: Execute other clerical or preparation duties as assigned by management.


Job Requirements & Qualifications


  • High level of focus and accuracy needed to handle sensitive files page by page.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time performing repetitive manual tasks. Must be able to comfortably lift and move storage boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to consistently work the swing shift (3:30 PM – Midnight) and arrive on time every day.
  • Prior experience in data entry, document scanning, clerical administrative work, or warehouse sorting is a plus, but not required.
