The Opportunity
As an AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will apply data, algorithms, and software engineering to build and deploy software and platform systems that create Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-based solutions at scale. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, learning how to manage and inspire others.
In this role, you will design AI systems, engage in data wrangling, and implement software to make AI models useful and scalable. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and stakeholders, delivering quality solutions while navigating increasingly complex situations. Embracing ambiguity, you will use these moments as opportunities for growth, asking questions and developing your personal brand. This position offers a chance to deepen your technical skills and contribute to the firm's overall business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing AI systems to transform raw data into actionable insights
- Developing scalable machine learning models using Python and TensorFlow
- Integrating data from diverse sources to support AI and machine learning solutions
- Conducting complex data analysis to identify patterns and trends for informed decision-making
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance data infrastructure and integration processes
- Utilizing natural language processing techniques to improve text analytics and sentiment analysis
- Applying deep learning and neural network methodologies to optimize AI model performance
- Managing data pipelines to validate efficient data flow and processing
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business objectives
- Mentoring junior team members in AI implementation and data engineering practices
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering with AI and Machine Learning for each missing year of college is required
- At least 2 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- In at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology
- At least one of the following: Certifications aligned to data engineering, machine learning, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or related data and AI credentials
- Utilizing AI implementation and machine learning libraries
- Excelling in complex data analysis and data modeling
- Demonstrating proficiency in Python and TensorFlow
- Navigating ambiguity with critical thinking and problem-solving
- Building meaningful client connections and managing relationships

The salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $151,470. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $55,000 - $187,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
