Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a team member wanting to start a career in a fast-growing health organization!


This entry-level position performs daily evaluations to include but not limited to specimen collection, specimen processing, specimen analysis, instrument maintenance and results reporting. Familiar with and demonstrates competency in the use of all the testing equipment is preferred or similar experience. On-the-job training will be provided.


Duties/Responsibilities:

- Reports results in a timely manner and performs all quality checks to assure the accuracy of results.

- Manages time to assure timely results reporting so strong time-management skills required.

- Assures documents and logs are complete and accurate so high-attention to detail required.

- Consistently follows department protocol for existing and/or new policies and procedures written.

- Maintains a safe and clean working environment as well as laboratory equipment utilized.

- Follows universal standard precautions and safe practices in the proper handling of all samples.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle situations with patience and endurance.

- Shows a responsibility to the job and coworkers by exhibiting good attendance and punctuality.

- Assist other departments with efficiency standards by creating policies or practices that create efficiency.

- Performs all other duties as assigned
