This is an entry level opportunity in which to learn all aspects of our business. This is a full-time position which requires dedication in a fast-paced environment. The CSR will form good relationships both internally and externally. This person will not be afraid to ask questions and will be assertive to ensure the growth of our company. The CSR will need to be open to suggestions and constructive criticism. The CSR will assist the sales representatives and back up teammates in order to ensure success.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School education or equivalent is required. Successful completion of the company’s training program is required. Some customer service experience is preferred.

TECHNICAL/MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills, as well as general knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is a must. Representative must show willingness to master internal computer system.
  • Exhibit time management skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to recognize a problem or potential problem and react quickly and effectively.
  • Display good communication skills, both written and verbal within and outside the company.
  • Must demonstrate good team and human relation skills, reliability, and trustworthiness.
  • Must be a proactive and enthusiastic team player
  • Punctuality and dependability are crucial

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales order entry and confirming accuracy
  • Expediting sales orders and proactively expediting from a backlog report
  • Supply customers with technical support, spec sheets and compliance documentation
  • Running daily and monthly reports
  • Assist with special projects and contract data entry
  • Be willing to assist the sales team when called upon
  • Coordinate customer returns
  • Act as a backup for teammates when absences or busy times occur
