We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Human Resource Coordinator position in the Houston area.
Job Description:
The HR Coordinator is an entry level position which supports and partners with Regional HR Business Partners and Hospice Administrators to improve the organization's overall efficiency through assisting in the implementation of various HR systems and processes. The HR Coordinator will facilitate daily HR functions of multiple agency sites within Harbor Healthcare System. Daily activities will include- Collaborating across teams to coordinate a variety of people initiatives such as employee onboarding, new employee orientation and various training and retention activities. Maintaining employee information for various HR functions using Excel database. Submitting reoccurring employee reports to stakeholders. Maintaining employee personnel file documents for multiple agency sites. Prepare and present employee personnel files for state and accreditation audits. Provide HR guidance related to various employee experience.
Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, is preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years of human resource experience or equivalent transferrable skillset.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. This position will require dynamic and creative public speaking skills.
  • Handle data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer data entry.
  • Comfortable using and improving various systems and processes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize assignments and work to ensure timely completion of tasks. Adheres to Agency policies and procedures while working and conducting Agency business and all OSHA regulations and Agency health and safety policies.
  • Demonstrates reliability and dependability by reporting to work on time and being available to work at a full-time exempt status
  • Experience working in the healthcare field - preferred
