Job description
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As the Cash Application/AP Clerk the ideal candidate would be able to adapt to ever evolving technology, problem solving and create solutions as challenges arise and maintain a steady workflow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Daily posting of customer payments
  • Application of adjustments to customer accounts
  • Dispute and deduction resolution
  • Follow up on uncollected COD transactions
  • Processing refunds
  • Corporate branch cash drawer balancing
  • Processing credit applications
  • Manage AR department mail box
  • Assist with month end processing
  • Data Entry of purchase order and expense invoices
  • Processing Online & ACH payments
  • Processing weekly check run batches

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
  • Cash Application experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to problem solve and effectively come up with solutions to issues
  • Experience with computers and understanding of reporting tools such as Excel
  • Excellent organization, mathematical, prioritization, and follow-up skills required;
  • Ability to handle deadlines and to work under pressure with multiple interruptions.
  • Able to provide a high level of service with external and internal customers

Qualifications
High school diploma or greater required
Schedule:
Full Time / Monday - Friday
7am - 4pm
Salary:
Starting minimum rate of $19 based on Experience and Education Level
