You will partner closely with Actuarial Technology, Data Engineering, Cloud COE, Product Actuarial, and other IT teams to design, test, document, and implement application changes that are secure, resilient, maintainable, and production ready. You will also provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to product analysts and APL coders, promote coding discipline and testing rigor, and help shape the long-term strategy for modernizing remaining APL capabilities into Python and the LASSIE platform where appropriate.

Coordinate work across business and IT resources, establishing technical priorities, and communicate status, risks, and recommended decisions to stakeholders.
Maintain and support APL tools for in-force illustrations and exception policy administration while developing plans to convert or integrate remaining capabilities into Python and the LASSIE platform where appropriate.
Apply strong engineering fundamentals and coding best practices to keep solutions modular, scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable as the platform grows.
Support Customer Service and business partners with complex product calculation questions, production research, and issue resolution.
What you bring
