Client Services Reporting Analyst (Client Portal & Data Governance)

Location: Newark, NJ Schedule: Hybrid – In Office Tuesday–Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion, Not Guaranteed) Interview Process: First Round Virtual | Second Round Onsite

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join the Client Services Reporting Team. This role supports investor-facing client deliverables with a primary focus on the firm's client portal and reporting operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional (0–3 years of experience) who is comfortable learning new technology, enjoys investigating system issues, and has strong organizational and analytical skills. While this is not a software development or IT role, candidates should have a strong aptitude for technology and be comfortable navigating multiple business systems. This is not a data entry position. The role requires problem solving, system administration, troubleshooting, and data governance responsibilities.

Responsibilities Client Portal Administration (InvestorFlow)
  • Manage day-to-day client portal operations, including document uploads and investor communications.
  • Ensure portal content is posted accurately and on time.
  • Troubleshoot portal issues and partner with technology teams to investigate and resolve system problems.
  • Log, track, and follow issues through resolution.
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including:
    • License reviews
    • Security and profile setup
    • User maintenance
  • Coordinate investor communications and manage returned or undeliverable communications.
Data Governance & Reporting
  • Perform auditing activities to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Investigate system discrepancies and partner with internal teams to resolve them.
  • Support reporting activities and other scheduled or ad hoc client deliverables.
  • Assist with initiatives focused on automation and process improvements alongside technology teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 0–3 years of professional experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
  • Strong understanding of technology and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Comfortable investigating system issues and working through technology-related processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
