The Wealth Data engineering team within the Global Wealth Engineering (GWE) is the key team in meeting the operational data needs of the various stake holders within Wealth Management. The Lead Data Analyst will play a key role in designing and implementing business solutions using Google cloud working closely with the enterprise data team and data architects, solution architects, data analyst and data engineers

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Gather requirements, conduct research, and provide actionable insights to solve business problems. They collaborate with multiple teams to ensure project goals meet business needs. A key task is documenting and presenting findings through reports and presentations.
  • Serves as a data analyst and technical support for information systems. The Data Analyst analyzes current business processes and oversees the integration and implementation process of effective business practices into the appropriate information systems.
  • Data Analyst is toย promote efficiency through the systems used in a company. This is broken into two components: Improving and optimising current systems in the business; and creating new systems to support the company's strategies.
  • Creating technical documents inclusive of mapping details as well as designing and implementing data ingestion patterns that will support batch, streaming and API interface on both the Ingress and Egress.
  • Guide a team of data analyst and work hands on in developing framework and mapping specs using best practices that will meet the demanding performance requirements
  • Use their advanced technical knowledge to support their claims and answer clients' questions about the proposed changes.
  • Provide end-to-end business/technical guidance and expertise on data integrity and referential integrity across LOBs
  • Defining Use Case Scenarios and validate the scenarios

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, performance optimization for large OLTP applications
  • Knowledge of Wealth Industry - Retail/Wealth, IIROC-CRM guidelines, CRA guidelines
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • Facilitation skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
