MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Six (6) years of professional experience in research, data analysis or economics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED

\r\n College training may be\r\n substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester\r\n hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4)\r\n years for a Bachelor's degree.\r\n A Master's degree in\r\n economics, statistics or a closely related field may be substituted for one (1)\r\n additional year of the General Experience.\r\n Successful completion of a\r\n Connecticut Careers Trainee program approved by the Department of\r\n Administrative Services may be substituted for the General Experience.\r\n \r\n\r\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\r\n\r\n Experience working with Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software;\r\n Experience with mainframe and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) software;\r\n Experience in research design, data collection, and analytical approaches;\r\n Experience communicating orally and in writing with other departments, outside state and federal agencies and stakeholders;\r\n Experience using SQL, R, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.\r\n\r\n\r\n
