Job Overview

The Analyst, R&DCategorysupports Procurement activities for Research & Developmentspendcategories, partnering with category managers and R&D stakeholders to enable effective sourcing, supplier management, and spend visibility. This role provides analytical and operational support that helps ensure R&D teams havetimelyaccess to innovative, compliant, and costeffective suppliers and services.

This position offers exposure to earlystage innovation, technical supplier ecosystems, and regulated procurement environments, making it an excellent opportunity to build foundational procurement and categoryexpertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support R&D Procurement category teams with spend analysis, reporting, and supplier insights.

  • Assistwith sourcing activities, including RFx preparation, bid analysis, supplier comparisons, and documentation.

  • Maintain and analyze procurement data toidentifycost, performance, and efficiency opportunities.

  • Support supplier management activities, including performance tracking, issue followup, and scorecard maintenance.

  • Assistin contract administration, documentation management, and compliance with procurement policies.

  • Partner with R&D stakeholders to help clarify requirements and support execution of approved sourcing strategies.

  • Leverage procurement systems and digital tools to support data accuracy, reporting, and process execution.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes, analytics, and automation.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degreerequired(Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field).

  • MBAor other advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 0-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, operations, ora relateddiscipline.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with Excelbased data sets, reports, and dashboards.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate in a crossfunctional, matrixed environment.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to R&D, technical, or innovationfocused environments.

  • Familiarity with procurement, sourcing, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa).

  • Experience supporting RFx processes, supplier analysis, or contract documentation.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
