About the Role

HHI Corporation is looking for an Entry-Level IT Systems Administrator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your IT career while supporting the technology that keeps our construction, manufacturing, and federal operations moving.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, dependable, and genuinely passionate about technology. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, learning new systems, and finding ways to improve and automate processes. You should be a self-motivated problem solver who takes ownership, communicates well, adapts to changing priorities, and enjoys being part of a team.

This is a 100% onsite position.
What You'll Do

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will provide hands-on technical support across HHI by managing help-desk requests and troubleshooting user, hardware, software, and network issues. You will assist with computer deployment and configuration, manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Microsoft 365, and maintain, patch, and update servers.

You will also support HHI’s CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity environment, mobile devices and company iPhones, IT equipment, and technology at both office and field locations. The position will provide opportunities to improve and automate processes using PowerShell and other tools, research new technologies, maintain IT documentation and assets, and occasionally provide after-hours support when operational needs require it.

If This Sounds Like You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys IT, technology, troubleshooting, and continuous learning. You don't need to know everything on day one—we want someone who is willing to research, learn, take ownership, and figure things out.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of help-desk or systems administration experience OR an IT-related education/degree in progress.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server.
  • Strong Windows workstation troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Experience with computer deployment and imaging is preferred.
  • Experience with Jira or another IT ticketing system is preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple IT requests.
  • Ability to travel to remote sites when necessary.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must meet applicable government security clearance requirements.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be willing to carry a mobile phone and occasionally provide after-hours support.

Technology Experience That Will Make You Stand Out

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • PowerShell, scripting, or process automation
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • iPhone/iOS technology or mobile device management
  • Windows Server
  • Networking
  • Cybersecurity or CMMC
  • Jira or other IT service management platforms
  • Hardware deployment and imaging

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to move safely and comfortably through office, construction, and field environments.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform physical IT equipment deployment, wiring, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to provide professional and responsive IT support in both office and field settings.

HHI Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
