Job description

LOCATION - 100% in Office - Jeffersonville, NY

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for performing administrative duties to support
the credit analysis function; achieving goals as
established in the assigned department's annual operating
plan; complying with operating policies and procedures
established for the credit analysis function; communicating
with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or
requests for information; maintaining appropriate records
and providing assigned reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Demonstrates core values and guiding principles as outlined
in the Bank's Mission, Vision and Value Statements of which
the following are illustrative:

a. Gives exceptional customer service to both internal
and external customers by providing prompt, polite and
effective communication.

b. Participates as a member of the team.

c. Positively and proactively contributes to the Bank's
Strategic Plan.

d. Demonstrates support of Management.

2. Ensures that all activities and work functions adhere to
compliance requirements as are defined in company policies
and procedures as well as state/federal laws and regulations.

3. Performs administrative duties to support the credit analysis
function of which the following are illustrative:

a. Receives data on prospective and active borrowing
accounts, i.e., financial statements, agency reports,
and interview and investigation sheets.

b. Analyzes data and evaluates the short and long run
prospects of the individual or company.

c. May suggest a loan grade after conducting a thorough
credit analysis and documentation review.

d. Provides thorough documentation of all financial analysis
work, including ratios and other related information.

e. Ensures that all credit analysis activities are conducted
in accordance with prescribed lending policy.

4. Achieves goals assigned to the Credit Analyst as part of
the assigned department's annual operating plan.

5. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the
adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and
practices in support of risk management and overall safety
and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory
requirements, including but not limited to BSA & AML (cash
secured loans, loans paid off too quickly) e.g. Community
Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.

6. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within
the unit or department as well as with other units and
departments in order to insure the smooth and efficient flow
of information.

7. Complies with established operating policies and
procedures in order to maintain adequate controls and to
support the bank's adherence to outside regulatory
requirements.

8. Communicates with management and staff personnel in
order to integrate goals and activities.

9. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular
area, or to requests from other bank personnel,
customers, etc., within given time frames and within
established policy.

10. Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned
reports.

Salary Range
$24.08 - $29.80 Hourly
