This may involve helping prepare taxes, overseeing an audit, handling bookkeeping and journal entries, or creating financial statements on a predetermined schedule. CPAs can also provide consulting services, so may need to juggle time spent talking with others with time spent processing statements. Many entry-level CPAs work as part of a larger accounting team because employers who only have a single accountant on staff prefer experienced applicants. • Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals

What It Takes to Win

  • Early-career sales professionals with 1-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes
  • Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation
  • Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback
