Senior Chemist โ€“ Applications Lab

Kobo Products, Inc. located in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking an organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Applications Lab Chemist to join our team.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioscience, or Biology required
  • Strong experience working with colors required
  • 5+ yrs. experience in formulating color cosmetics including lipsticks, foundation, pressed and loose powder; knowledge of skin care, sun care, and hair care products is a plus
  • Knowledge of cosmetic regulations and safety required
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication/presentation and multi-tasking skills required
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Some domestic and international travel required to support tradeshows and customer visits
Job Responsibilities:
  • Help to develop new raw materials for unique products
  • Train and assist technicians, chemists, and temporary personnel on formulating cosmetic products including all colored cosmetics, hair care, sun care and personal care as necessary
Salary:

$85,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
