About the role:

As an entry level Electrical Engineer I, you will work independently using basic knowledge obtained from core college courses. Projects will focus on engineering design for nuclear products, electrical system design, instrumentation and controls design. You will hone your skills in the development of engineering design documents around calculations and specifications.

You will report to the Manager, Electrical Engineering. This role is located at our Rock Hill, SC facility. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our Rock Hill, SC office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical system engineering design, instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs, and electrical system wiring
  • Use standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of electrical engineering design documents including calculations and specifications
  • Use software packages such as Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or equivalent
  • Learn new software packages
  • Work with teams on similar engineering level to obtain necessary information and knowledge transferPlan and schedule work to meet requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Willing to travel to client sites, as needed
