Job description

Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Software Engineering or a related STEM discipline or equivalent experience/combined education Knowledgeable in systems engineering lifecycle, development, requirements decomposition, and application of processes and tools Experience with CNI (Communications, Navigation & Identification) systems to include inertial navigation, GPS/SatNav, Alternative Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT) and other related avionics subsystems.

Knowledge of advanced navigation technologies, navigation sensors, filters and platform integration. Experience with navigation and/or guidance navigation & control software algorithms and the tools used to complete them. Desired Skills Experience with design, development, and integration of advanced navigations systems Experience developing airborne navigation software using Matlab, Python, C/C++.

Airworthy flight code development experience is desired. Experience using digital engineering workflows, tools and methods for system & software deployment Experience presenting to senior leaders, program management, and external customers Experience with Military and/or Government programs Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
