Job Title: Barrier Maintenance Technician - Honolulu, HI

Job Summary: A Barrier Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of barriers and access control systems to maintain security and control access to restricted areas. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of barriers and associated equipment. Having a robust electrical background is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:
    1.Installation:
  • Install and set up various types of barriers, including boom gates, turnstiles, bollards, electronic gates, and access control systems.
  • Ensure that installations comply with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
    1. 2.Maintenance:
  • Regularly inspect and maintain barriers and access control equipment to ensure they are in good working order. oPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment of mechanical and electronic components.
  • Replace worn-out or damaged parts as needed to prevent breakdowns.
    1. 3.Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with barriers and access control systems. oIdentify and resolve electrical, mechanical, or software-related problems.
