Job description

Role: Control Room Operator

Job Description:
  • Responsible for working with field operations, marketing and management providing up to the minute reports and data.
  • Identify potential opportunities to maximize production in real time and initiate/take corrective action, working with field operations.
  • Monitor and analyze all facilities to detect equipment failures.
  • Communicate critical events to field operations personnel to maintain oil and gas production at highest rates possible.
  • Manage and communicate SCADA alarms using verbal and electronic media.
  • Identify service needs and dispatch service providers including water and oil transports and I&E personnel.
  • Assist field operations during incidents or emergencies.
  • Manage third party and PNR significant downtime events in a manner to influence optimal timing for events to occur.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, to include special projects.

Requirements:
  • Proficient with digital tools and systems
  • Comfortable working with industry-specific software and hardware
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Experienced in using diagnostic, monitoring, and control systems
  • Capable of leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency
  • Technically proficient in field-based data entry and equipment interfaces
  • Ability to sit at a desk for 12 hour periods

Position Details:
  • Pay Rate: $31/hr, with overtime guarenteed
  • Schedule: 7/7 (Rotating Days/Nights)
