Job Description:
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Specialist with updating and maintaining the department website.
  • Create and edit photos, graphics, and other visual materials using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
  • Assist with developing and publishing content for departmental social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Support departmental communications efforts, including drafting announcements, and promotional content.
  • Assist with planning and supporting departmental events, seminars, meetings, and outreach activities.
  • Perform data entry, filing, document preparation, and other general office tasks.

Expected Salary:
$15.00 hour
Required Qualifications:
  • Must maintain a 2.5-grade point average.
  • Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Must receive or be eligible to receive Federal Work Study

Preferred:
  • Demonstrated interest in communications, marketing, public relations and scientific research.
