Job description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Commercial Door Installer to join our team in Irving, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or construction experience who is looking to build a career in the commercial door industry.

Previous commercial door installation experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation and adjustment of commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
  • Work with metal, wood, and aluminum door frames.
  • Learn to troubleshoot and repair hinges, door closers, exit devices, operators, vertical rods, and other commercial door hardware.
  • Learn to read door hardware schedules, measurements, and basic blueprints.
  • Assist with low-voltage wiring and access control systems when needed.
  • Ensure doors and hardware are properly aligned, secure, and functioning correctly.
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Construction, carpentry, mechanical, maintenance, or installation experience is a plus.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with hand and power tools.
