We are looking for an Entry-Level Electrical Trainee to join our commercial construction team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and interested in building a career in the electrical trade.
The primary responsibility will be assisting electricians with commercial wire pulling, material handling, and general electrical installation work. Previous electrical experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
-Assist electricians with pulling and routing wire and cable through commercial buildings
-Load, unload, and organize electrical materials and tools
-Assist with installation of boxes, supports, and electrical equipment
-Help prepare work areas and keep the jobsite clean and organized
-Identify and gather materials needed for daily work
-Use basic hand and power tools safely
-Follow directions from journeyman electricians and foremen
-Learn to read basic electrical plans and layouts
-Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements
-Perform other general electrical construction tasks as directed
Qualifications
-Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
-Previous construction or electrical experience is a plus, but not required
-Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
-Willingness to learn the electrical trade
-Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
-Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and construction sites
-Able to lift and carry materials as required
-Basic understanding of hand tools
-Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-Must be willing to work safely and follow direction
