Job Description

  • Support project managers and field teams on active commercial construction projects.
  • Assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting notes, and project tracking.
  • Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project documents to help ensure work is properly coordinated.
  • Help track schedules, materials, vendors, project updates, and field progress.
  • Assist with cost tracking, estimates, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and project reporting.
  • Communicate with internal teams, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field staff.
  • Visit job sites as needed to understand field conditions, project status, and construction methods.
  • Help maintain organized project folders, logs, reports, and administrative documentation.
  • Learn commercial construction systems, field processes, cost controls, and project management best practices.
  • Grow into greater responsibility within project management, estimating, or operations.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of construction experience, construction internship experience, project coordination experience, or relevant construction education.
  • Interest in commercial construction, specialty construction, subcontractor operations, project management, or estimating.
  • Ability to read or learn to read plans, specifications, drawings, and construction documents.
  • Strong organization, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
