What You'll Do

As a MIG Welder, you will:

  • Operate MIG welding equipment to weld steel and aluminum components
  • Read blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
  • Set up welding machines and adjust settings as needed
  • Replace welding wire, tips, and consumables
  • Inspect finished welds and parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Grind, clean, and finish welds as required
  • Load and unload materials on the production line
  • Track daily production and report material shortages
  • Identify and report equipment issues to maintain efficient operations
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
