Job Summary:
dbHMS is a company dedicated to building innovative and sustainable projects. They are seeking an Entry Level IT Generalist to support the IT Coordinator in maintaining office technology and assisting with helpdesk operations across the country.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Operate and manage the company helpdesk system:
โ€ข Assist with support of technology infrastructure including hardware, software, and network systems.
โ€ข Over time, take primary responsibility for helpdesk activities and tasks.
โ€ข Workstation and other user device maintenance:
โ€ข Configure devices and image machines.
โ€ข Set up and configure user accounts, permissions, and remote access.
โ€ข Assist with IT needs for onboarding new staff members.
โ€ข Assist the IT Coordinator:
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
โ€ข Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot user hardware and software.
โ€ข Create and maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
โ€ข Additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, firewalls, and switches.
โ€ข Ability to communicate and receive communication effectively both verbally and written.
โ€ข Strong organizational skills for processes, schedules, and tasks.
โ€ข Positive attitude and willingness to learn and support new systems and applications.
โ€ข Willingness to work shifts outside of regular office hours for special circumstances as the need arises.
โ€ข Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds.
Preferred:
โ€ข Enrolled in an Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree program in Information Technology.
โ€ข Past IT helpdesk experience.
