Background

Canadas fastest growing full-service Performance Marketing Agency, located in Torontos historic Distillery District, is looking to fill a full time, contract, Media Coordinator role. This role will allow an individual to develop in-depth knowledge of the direct response media buying market.


Position Summary

With a high level of speed and accuracy, the successful incumbent efficiently keys data into our computer database to record TV schedules for our customers. The role will also assist Managers in communicating with external reps and compiling various reports on a weekly basis. Effective time management, exceptional keyboarding skills and a strong attention to detail are essential to success for this role.

Our ideal fit must thrive under high volume and pressure, be comfortable with repetitive data entry, be skilled at multitasking and changing priorities in work scope and most of all: have a can-do attitude!

Though this role is entry level and highly administrative it is an integral part of our team and our customers success.

Responsibilities

  • Support and assist Media Managers directly to ensure their client deliverables are being met.
  • Compile weekly rates, avails, and post-reports.
  • Assist entering TV Media buys into Core (internal industry database).
  • Assist with external bookings and managing internal TV Media inventory.
  • Assist internal team members with last minute inquiries, requests, and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with all other departments on questions and concerns.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Post secondary education (Advertising/Media background is an asset)

Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications with strength in Excel
  • Proven data entry experience
  • Previous experience working within a computer database.

Attributes

  • Typing ability of 50 words per minute using both alpha and numerical keypads
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced/deadline sensitive work environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the requirements of our evolving business needs.
  • Comfort with working extra hours.
